Directly at a sandy/stone beach is situated the hotel Joan Beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee available. The tourist centre is about 500 m away. The town Rethymno is around 7 km away (Heraklion around 65 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 100 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 50 m. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 100 m away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Venetian Harbour, Archaeological Museum of Rethymno, Centre of Byzantine Art, Historical and Folklore Museum and Municipal Garden. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank as well as a bus stop in a distance of around 50 m and a car rental company. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 7 km away. The airport (HER) is approx. 80 km away. Another airport (CHQ) is located approx. 73 km away.
